What happens during women’s health exams?

When you arrive at Care Fast Urgent Care for a women’s health exam, friendly staff members welcome you and check your weight, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs. They discuss your medical history and ask about symptoms you might have.

During a physical exam, your Care Fast Urgent Care provider evaluates your eyes, throat, breathing, heartbeat, reflexes, and more. They offer pelvic examinations to assess your reproductive health and wellness.

By inserting a speculum into your vagina and taking a sample of cervical cells, your provider can screen for signs of cervical cancer. They also offer breast exams and mammograms to screen for breast cancer, as well as urine tests, blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
